Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #019 Colour Challenge
It’s time for another Inspire Create Stamping challenge and this week I have a pretty card with the brand new 2018-2020 In Colours.
Aren’t they gorgeous! I really love these new In Colours. So bright and sunshiny!
I have been playing with the Love What You Do new stamp set ALOT! It is from the Share What You Love Bundle and it is currently on early release until the end of the month as part of a selection of bundles. You will also be able to order it from the new catalogue when it launches on June 1st.
I love these flowers and have had an idea in mind for ages to team it up with the Jar Of Love stamps. It has been whirling around in my head and I thought it would be great for this challenge.
I have taken two of the new In Colours for my card.
Here is how it is made:
The card base is in Grapefruit Grove, layered with Blueberry Bushel and Whisper White.
I have stamped the middle size jar from Jar Of Love in Smokey Slate on to the Whisper White followed by the flowers from the Love What You Do stamps in Black Memento and water coloured in Blue Berry Bushel using an Aqua Painter.
I stamped the jar agin on a scrap of Whisper White, stamped the water in stamped off Balmy Blue – another new colour favourite! and stamped some stems in Memento Black and cut the jar out using the Jar Of Love Dies.
I have put a little of the Jute Twine ( currently a bargain in the clearance rack) around the neck of the jar before adhering down with Stampin Dimensionals.
I have stamped the flowers again onto a scrap of Whisper White, water coloured those in Grapefruit Grove ink in the same way and then fussy cut them out and adhered using Stampin Dimensionals to give another layer.
I stamped Love What You Do in Blueberry Bushel ink. This blue is gorgeous!
I off set my card layers to create some interest.
I made this card with one of my team members in mind. The Love What You Do stamp is perfect !!
Can you see the Clear Wink Of Stella on the flower petals? I’m not sure it shows up in the photo but it adds a lovely subtle shimmer.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of the Design team have come up with using our new In Colours!
