I couldn’t resist making a little box of note cards with the new Eastern Palace range from Stampin Up. They are just 4 x 4 in size and the box is 4 1/2x 4 1/2 so that the notecards and envelopes fit nicely inside. The colours in the Designer Series Papers are lovely. New 2017 In Colours which are Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide, Lemon Lime Twist put with Dapper Denim and Very Vanilla. For my first go I used the rich jewel tones. Its so easy to layer up the papers on the card base, with the die cuts and some of the luxurious gold stickers. Inside I have used Very Vanilla as an insert and stamped my sentiment in matching inks.
Here is how I made the box.
Card stock at 10 1/2 x 5 1/2
With your card stock horizontal score at 1/2, 5, 51/2, and 10 inches.
With your card stock portrait score at 1/2 an inch and at 5 inches.
For my second set I decided to pick out the Lemon Lime Twist. This has to be my new favourite colour! Its the first time I have used it and I love it!
This is how I made the note cards
Card base is 8 inches by 4 inches. Score in half at 4 inches.
DSP panel is 3 3/4 inches square
Very Vanilla card stock insert is 3 3/4 inches square.
