This week for the Global Design Project #GDP098 we have a sketch challenge. Each week the Global Design Team set a new challenge. It varies from colour, theme, layout, sketch and CASE the designer. I really enjoy playing along as it stretches your creativity.
I knew I wanted to make a clean and simple card this week. One of my favourites at the moment is the Daisy Suite and I couldn’t resist putting these beautiful Delightful Daisy papers in. I have used them to make my banners in different sizes. I raised the smallest one with a dimensional to give depth. I picked out the Powder Pink in the DSP and used it for my card layer.
To make a nice full flower I punched out four daisies and layered them up and curled the petals using my bone folder. I added a faceted Gem and also a couple of rhinestones around the sentiment to give a little sparkle.
I cut the ovals using the Layering Ovals and Stitched Shape Framelit Dies. I love this Happy Birthday Sentiment with its curly font. It is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.
I also tried it in Daffodil Delight! I think I prefer the pink. What do you think? Do let me know.
