I have a wintery card to share with you today.
The papers in the Colour Theory stack have all sorts of distressed looks to them. This blue crackle glaze looks very wintery don’t you think?! It was a simple card to put together once I had cut the snowflakes out on the big shot which was really a work of moments.
The other side of this crackle glaze design is graduated colour ranging from deep blue right up to almost white, so you see how it looks like I have used lots of different coloured card for the snowflakes? Well I just used less than one small sheet of this paper! Great because it all matches, is economical and is to hand. Did I say this paper was in the current Stampin up paper promotion?! Take a look at the bottom. I did add one tiny snowflake cut from a scrap of Silver Glimmer paper to add a little sparkle.
See my You Tube tutorial of how I made it
My card base is 14.8 cm x 10.5 cm
My DSP (patterned paper) layer is 14.8 cm x 10 cm
My sentiment panel is 2 cm x 10.5 cm
This card was made for a Case the catalogue challenge! CASE stands for copy and selectively edit.

I changed my sentiment to make it into a Christmas card
Lots of great dies in this set.
So far the leaves and the snowflakes are my favourite especially with Autumn in full swing and Christmas around the corner. I have lots of uses planned for all of them though including on my scrap book pages of all my summer pics!
The Annual catalogue is cram packed with beautiful images and card samples. Its so much more than just a catalogue. Its an ideas book! I created mine as part of a challenge that is going on in my Stampin Up team at the moment, but Casing is a brilliant way to get your own creativity flowing, especially if you are stuck for ideas. Give it a go. It certainly worked for me today, I now have loads of ideas running around my head in what to do next.
