Painted Glass Cards at Coffee and Cards
For Coffee and Cards this week I brought along the Painted Glass stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. It is part of the Graceful Glass Suite and it’s all about the Stained Glass.
I wasn’t sure about this set at first but the Mandala type image caught my eye. I started playing around with it and now I’m hooked!
It is perfect for the Global Design Project #142 sketch challenge this week. #GDP142.You can see all the amazing projects the Design Team have come up with and all the other entries too here!
The 2 inch circle punch fits it exactly!
Using a lighter and a darker colour it’s easy to create simple and pretty images.
Here we have used Coastal Cabana and Soft Sea Foam and also Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove stamped off.
The sentiments from the Eastern Beauty stamps lend themselves well as they mirror the curve of the circle.
Lots of these pretty cards were made on Monday
All ready for coffee and Cards on Tuesday. I run two sessions a week. I hope the ladies will love it and then are tempted to come to my monthly classes where we use more detailed techniques and more products too.
There was a lot of fabulous creativity . I love Coffee and Cards. there is always a lot of laughter and chit chat. We did a little Face Book Live too, just to show what we were making. You can see it on my Inkstampshare Face Book Page here.
Some of the cards we made. Always useful to have a Thank You or a Note For You card ready to send.
All the products we used to make the cards are listed here with clickable links to my online shop.
