Today I have a bauble card using Brightly Gleaming Papers from Stampin’ Up! and they are just gorgeous! I used the matching Christmas Gleaming stamps and punches for this card making it so easy to create.
The Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Papers colours are Pretty Peacock, Night of Navy and Mossy Meadow. The Copper foiling gives them a beautiful luxurious feel.
Bauble card with Brightly Gleaming Papers
I picked out the colours from the Brightly gleaming Designer papers to make the card. Pretty Peacock for the base, a layer of Very Vanilla, one of Night Of Navy and then the DSP. To make the card base: cut an A4 sheet of card in half at 14.9 cm and scored in half at 10.5 cm. Each layer is just half a cm smaller. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla card at 14.3 cm x 10 cm for the inside. There are three different baubles in the Brightly Gleaming stamp set. For this card, I used just one of the designs three times stamped in the matching colours, simply punched out with the matching punch. I’ve stamped the Merry Christmas in Pretty Peacock and raised up with some copper metallic thread behind. I’ve added a little stamping inside and it’s ready to go!
It’s very simple to make, the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Papers do all the work on this card. Natural light is always better! So I’ve taken the card outside in the photo to show just how gorgeous the copper foiling is. I have some projects coming up using these for other occasions than Christmas too so watch out for those.
