From Our House To Yours Card. A perfect sentiment for this Christmas card and also the name of the stamp set. We have a colour challenge for the Inspire Create Challenge this week.

I’m definitely still in full Christmas card making swing here and thought incorporating Blushing Bride in with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive might be a challenge

However, when I received this gorgeous little Christmas card in the post this morning from my dear friend Baz, I knew that From Our House To Yours was the way to go. I took her card for inspiration and changed it up a little for the colour challenge.

Here’s her card. I love it! She’s a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator too and very talented.

Punch a one-inch circle from a post-it note for a mask and use a sponge brayer with the Blushing bride ink pad to create a Winter sun. Stamp the house and roof and fussy cut out before adhering with Dimensional Foam Pads. Stamp the scene in Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride. Use thick Whisper White for your card base with a layer of Old Olive card.

The Clear Wink Of Stella brush adds a shimmery, frosty feel to the snow, roof, sun and trees. You can just about see it in this photograph but it looks so much better in real life. I do love a little shimmer. I’ve added some of the tiny snowflake sequins to finish it off.
