Spritzing With Reinker And Shimmer Paint

It’s so simple to make a gorgeous shimmery background image for a card. Make this one using the Honey Bee Bundle. One of my favourites at the moment. Can you tell?!

Spritzing With Reinker And Shimmer Paint

How it’s Done

Using a small spritzer bottle, add approximately 10 drops of re-inker. Use Daffodil Delight to recreate this one. Add a very small amount os shimmer paint. Frost White Shimmer Paint (Not too much or it will clog the spray) Fill the spritzer to the top with Rubbing Alcohol and shake very well.

Die-cut a honeycomb using the Detailed Bee Dies from the Honey Bee Bundle. Cover your workspace well with paper to protect it. Place your die cut where you would like it to be on your card layer – I used Whisper White card and with your spritzer, a distance away spray gently. Your paper will warp but will flatten once dry. Remove the die-cut leaving the negative behind.

The shimmer paint leaves it beautifully shimmery! Die Cut the large Bee in Gold Foil card and Vellum. Die-cut it again in Whisper White card. Use just the middle body stripes of this one, coloured in Daffodil Delight Marker. (you could also use Daffodil Delight Card instead) Stamp the sentiment in Daffodil Delight ink on a scrap of Whisper White and cut out using a Stitched Rectangle Die. Assemble the card and add some Gold Metallic Thread behind the sentiment. I used Daffodil Delight card as a base and a Whisper White panel inside.
