Cards With The Playful Alphabet Dies

Hello and welcome! Today I am sharing the cards I am making at this week’s Coffee & Cards live using the Playful Alphabet Dies. I really wanted to make a couple of white-on-white Christmas cards so I pulled out the beautiful Wintry Embossing Folders to pair with them.

Cards With The Playful Alphabet Dies

The 3D Wintry Embossing Folders come in a two-pack. Pine boughs and snowflakes. They leave such beautiful embossed images. Using the PlayfulAlphabet means you can put anything you like on the front of your card. Personalised birthday cards are always a winner. Apply some Clear Wink Of Stella to the letters to give a subtle sparkle. So pretty, although it doesn’t really show up in the photograph. Add a few rhinestone gems and some White Bakers Twine to complete the card.

Another tip for you – use the embossing folder on the flap of your envelope too, to make it extra special!

Use some stamps from your stash to stamp your sentiment inside. The Sparkle Of The Season stamp set has some fir boughs and some great Christmas sentiments.

The snowflake embossing folder in the pack is gorgeous too! Add a die-cut snowflake from the Merry Snowflakes dies to dress it up even more. Pop the rhinestone gems in the centre of the embossed snowflakes – so simple and pretty!

Perhaps you can see the shimmer of the Wink Of Stella on the letters a little better in this photograph.

Card Base Basic White Thick – A4 card scored in half at 10.5 cm and cut in half at 14.8 cm

Card layer Basic White 10 cm x 14.3 cm

Next card layer Basic White for embossing 8.5 cm x 14.3 cm
