Did you try our Animal theme challenge last time? I couldn’t resist making a celebration card with this little mermaid and the Celebrate You Thinlits for the challenge this week.
This time we have colour challenge and we are all working from this gorgeous colour palate. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.
This “Celebrate” is from a set of dies that are free with Saleabration. Perfect to use for so many occasions.
This beautiful, sparkly washi tape is from the Myths and Magic suite. Do you see how I used it to cut out the word? It worked really well and I am oh so happy with the sparklyness (possibly not a word but should be!) of it all!

My little mermaid is stamped onto a scrap of water colour paper and I have water coloured her in by laying colour from my Stampin Write Markers ( you can also use your ink pads to do this!) on an acryllic block and using my Aqua Painter to water colour her. I used Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay.
My card base is in Basic Grey, my layer in Bermuda Bay and I have used the Washi tape (Bermuda Bay and Silver) behind my mermaid too.
