One Wild Ride! Black Ice Technique
Inspire Create Stamping Challenge #015
We have a theme challenge over at the Inspire Create Stamping Challenge this time. Each fortnight we have a new challenge and this time it is Masculine. You can see all the other projects made by the talented members of the Design Team here. You can also play along too. It’s great fun and really easy to add a link.
I saw this technique demonstrated by a member of our team and I was fascinated! I then did a little search on You Tube too. I believe the technique was started by Melissa Kerman. Do look her up. She has done some fabulous cards!

The card base is in Basic Black card stock. A4, cut in half at 14.8 cm and scored in half at 10.5 cm.
The next layer is basic grey cut at 14.3 cm x 10 cm.
The Whisper White layer is 11.5 cm x 9.5 cm.
The Silver Foil Card is 11 cm x 9 cm.
The Whisper White insert is cut at 14.3 cm x 10 cm.
I love this technique. It’s almost like a metallic distressed look. It works really well with the Champagne, Copper and Gold Foiled card too. It’s great fun to play around with. Do have a go.
Definitely see what all the rest of the Design Team came up with for this challenge. It’s always great to have a few cards with a more masculine feel to them up your sleeve.
