May Your Christmas Be Bright !
Making Christmas Bright – Stampin’ Up!
This little string of fairy lights is from the Making Christmas Bright stamps and Punch Bundle.
This is the kind of stamp set where I can see a use for every single stamp in it. I love that because you will really get lots of use out of it.
I was looking to make a lovely, simple card that also had a little wow factor to it. One that could be reproduced easily to make in a batch to give out to friends. This little lightbulb string with some Gold embossing fits the bill perfectly!
I have stamped the lights in clear Versamark and used Gold Stampin Emboss powder to heat emboss before simply colouring in with Stampin Write Markers in Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.
I have carried on the gold embossing with the wreath image and the word Bright to make it pop. It is is cut out with a circle punch and layered on top of the gorgeous Merry Merlot/Copper Reversible Ribbon.
Such a quick and easy card, using the less obvious stamp in the set but very effective don’t you think. They would be very easy to make as a batch too. I love this set, it’s so versatile as it has a great punch that goes with it too! Its a good one to bring out year after year. Here are a couple of other cards I have made using this set, here and here
Here are the products I have used to make the card, with clickable links to my online shop.
