I love a card that has a little more to it so I thought I would make a gatefold shutter card. I’ve included a YouTube tutorial and a list of dimensions so that you can try it out too.
I wanted to make a masculine card so I reached for the new Come Sail Away Suite. It has gorgeous papers, stamps, and dies, plus cute little nautical embellishments and bakers twine. Lots of elements to play with! This one is a congratulations card. Just right for this time of the year with lots of exams going on but it would work beautifully for any occasion.
See how it opens here
The first time I saw this type of card, I loved the element of surprise as you open the card and the shutter opens to reveal the hidden message inside.
So fun! I have made a YouTube tutorial to show you how I made it here.
I hope you like it. Do give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you do. Don’t forget to press the little bell for notification of future videos.
