Perennial Birthdays Card – Inspire Create Challenge #055
We have a colour challenge this time over at the Inspire Create Challenge and they are gorgeous! Perfect for making a birthday card using the Perennial Birthdays stamp set.
Perennial Birthdays Card
Here’s how I made it –
Stamp a layer of Whisper White card 14.3 cm x 10 cm with the flowers and leaves from the set in Lovely Lipstick, Old Olive and Blushing Bride inks. Adhere to a Lovely Lipstick card base. 14.9 cm x 10.5 cm Repeat stamping another Whisper White panel in the same way. Layer together with the Lovely Lipstick panel and Blushing Bride panel and adhere to the front using Dimensional foam strips. Use Night Of Navy and Old Olive ink to stamp the larger flowers and leaf sprigs. Fussy cut them out and stick them to the front using Dimensional foam pads. I chose birthday cheers all around for the sentiment on the front, stamped and cut out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies.
The inside Whisper White layer 14.3 cm x 10 cm.
I know exactly who I am sending this card to. Do you send all the cards you make? It was World Card Making Day a couple of weeks ago and Stampin’ Up! demonstrators all over the world held card making events. Stampin’ Up! then challenged us all to a World Card Making Week. The challenge was to send 50,000 cards globally. I am super pleased to say we smashed it! How cool is that! It’s too easy to make a pretty card but then not send it. So if you have a stash, start sending out all your cards too. #makeacardsendacard
