Floral Essence Thank You Card – We have a colour challenge this week over at the Inspire Create Challenge #061. The perfect excuse to pull out the Floral essence stamp set and create a thank you card. We always need more of those.

Heat embossing makes water colouring so easy.

Floral Essence Thankyou Card

To Make it – Stamp the flower and leaf images onto Watercolour paper in Versamark and heat emboss with Silver Emboss Powder. Using an Aquapainter, paint the petals with water. Saturate well each area before adding Flirty Flamingo ink to the petals and Pretty Peacock ink to the leaves. You can pick up the ink from your ink pad using the Aqua Painter. The ink will pool and shade depending on how much water is laid down. Stamp the middle of the flowers in Early Espresso ink. For the sentiment, stamp “Thank You” in Flirty Flamingo and cut out with one of the Layering Oval Dies. Cut a slightly larger scalloped oval in Pretty Peacock and layer both together. A few rhinestones finishes it off. Use Pretty Peacock card as the card base.

Inside – Stamp the flower image in Black Memento ink onto your piece of Whisper White for inside your card. Add Thank You, stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink.
