Little Ladybug – Coffee & Cards

How cute is this little fella? I took along the Little Ladybug stamp set to Coffee & Cards today.

It has lots of ladybird images and lots of useful sentiments. They fit inside the 2″ circle punch perfectly. This my sample for a simple one layer card using this set but there is so much more that can be done with it.

Little Ladybug – Coffee & Cards

Choose which ladybird you would like and stamp him onto Whisper White card using Black Memento Ink. Colour his wings in Dark Poppy Parade Stampin Blend marker and his tummy stripes in Ivory Stampin’ blends marker. Use a 2″ Circle Punch to cut out the circle. Cut out a circle of Basic Black card using the 2 1/4 ” Circle punch and layer together with adhesive. Use a Whisper White Note Card as the card base and add a layer 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ of Poppy Parade card on top. Stamp out “Hey lady” (or your choice of sentiment) in Poppy Parade ink and either punch using the Classic Label Punch or cut out using your trimmer. Adhere the circles and sentiment using Dimensional foam pads. Add some of the Peaceful Poppies Sequins to finish it off.

Usually, the ladies make two cards. Sometimes they will make both the same as the sample I demonstrate and quite often after they have had a chance to play, the second will be their own creativity.

Stampin’ Blends markers are perfect to colour these images.

I love to see what they come up with! Aren’t they cute!
