Welcome to this month’s Stampin For Christmas Blog Hop! It DOES seem kind of weird thinking about Christmas in June and even more so, stamping snowmen. Just when we have had some warm weather at long last too! But it is fun to create a Christmas card once every month.
I bet you cannot guess which stamp set I’ve used to create the snow swirls on this card?
When I sat down to create I had the background to this card still sat on my desk
The Artistically Inked stamp set is my favourite in the new Annual Stampin Up Catalogue. The water colour image is so beautiful, I thought it would also work really well as snow swirls so I gave it a try!
Snowman Card
It works really well don’t you think? Stamp it in Balmy Blue onto Basic White card. To add a little more snow, stamp a few of the snowflakes from the Snowman Season stamp set, also in Balmy Blue. Use the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to create the focal point for the card. Create a frame using the same dies from Balmy Blue card. Raise the centre up on Dimensional Foam Pads. Colour in his hat and scarf using a Light Poppy Parade Blend Pen and his nose in Dark Pumpkin Pie. Add the sentiment, heat embossed in white, and a few self-adhesive sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera pack to complete it. I hope you like it! The Artistically Inked is a must-have stamp set! So versatile.
I can’t wait to see what everyone else has come up with for the Stampin For Christmas Blog Hop!
