Hello and welcome to my blog! Tonight during my YouTube live I have been playing with the Blending Brushes & The Artistic Dies. Isn’t this die-cut gorgeous?! It’s part of the Expressions In Ink Bundle. The whole bundle is beautiful but I love that this intricate die can also stand alone.
Blending Brushes & The Artistic Dies
You can catch the replay here to see exactly how I made it. Such a simple, fun technique with a blending brush and a couple of ink pads. I hope you like the tutorial. Do give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you do. It really helps the YouTube algorithm of getting the video suggested to those who might be interested – thank you.
Simply cut out in Basic White card to begin.
A little light ink blending behind in Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green.
Just two colours for this card. Well, three actually. The card base is Melon Mambo, the ink is Polished Pink with a Basic White card layer and embossing. It’s very simple and super effective to blend ink onto the envelope flap too! The Celebrate You is from the Celebrate With Friends stamp set. It has lots of useful, large words in this pretty font and then lots more such as the YOU. So many sentiment combinations! Emboss it in White onto a scrap of Melon Mambo card and cut the sentiment out with your snips. Pop it up on some Dimensional Adhesive Foam pads and glue the stamped YOU flat onto the card.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I got up to on this week’s Friday Live. Catch me live every Friday evening on YouTube here at 7pm BST and also over on my Facebook Page here for Coffee and Cards live every Tuesday morning at 11 am BST. You can always catch the replay too.
