Inspire Create Challenge #105

Hello and welcome! Today I have a Heartfelt Wishes, Christmas Card, for you. This one is for the Inspire Create Challenge and this time we have a sketch challenge. I haven’t taken part in a while despite my best intentions! It’s so good to be back with the gang. I’ve missed it! I can’t wait to see what everyone else comes up with for the challenge!

Here’s our sketch. Lots of scope with this one to make it anything you like, and great to play along with the challenge too. We’d love to have you!

How beautiful is this sentiment stamp in this font?! It’s from the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set. I have kept the rest of the card clean and simple to make it the focal point. Emboss the top panel of your card using one of the Wintry Embossing Folders. I have been using this one so much lately, it’s so pretty.

Heartfelt Wishes Christmas Card

The card base is in Thick Basic White card. A4 scored at 10.5 cm and cut at 14.8 cm

DSP – Tidings Of Christmas. Cut a panel at 10 cm x 14.3 cm

Top Section – Basic White card – Cut a panel at 10 cm x 14.3 cm.

Layer both layers together and cut a section off at the top at an angle with your timmer. About a third. ( you will be using a section of each)

Run the smaller section of the White card through your Cut N Emboss Machine with the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder. Add this to the card base at the top and the larger DSP section to the bottom.

Add the layers to your card base.

Stamp the sentiment onto Basic White card in Evening Evergreen ink and cut it out in a strip longer than the width of your card base. Adhere it into place following the angle of the DSP and trim the sides to fit with your snips.
