Honeybee Home Bundle

Hello and welcome! It’s time for Inspire Create Challenge #106. This time we have a colour challenge and I am bringing you sneak peek of the new Honeybee Home bundle and Designer Series Papers. I admit to being a little challenged by the colour palette until I took a look through the gorgeous new Heart & Home Designer Series Papers coming in the new January Mini Catalogue. They are so beautiful and perfect for this challenge!

Honeybee Home Bundle

I chose the Honeybee Home bundle in my demonstrator pre-order purely because of the gorgeous bees and the lovely font. I actually love the whole suite. And I may have purchased it all! It has papers, doilies, denim ribbon, matt decorative dots and two stamps and dies bundles. For this challenge, I have used the papers and the bundle from the suite. To create this card pick out this paper in the Cinnamon Cider, use Early an Espresso card layer and add in a little Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink.

Stamp the bee in Cinnamon Cider ink and use a Clear Wink Of Stella to colour him using some of the ink already in the outline of the stamped image. ( this makes him a little sparkly too. just a little) Die-cut a couple of pieces of foliage using the Honeybee Home Dies from a scrap of Early Espresso and Crumb Cake card. The card base and sentiment panel is in Very Vanilla instead of my usual Basic White. It’s so much softer with these colours. Use a stitched label die for the sentiment such as this one from the Tasteful Labels Dies – such a super useful die set. Finish it off with some of the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Dots.
