I have a fun Pumpkin card for you today using the Come To Gather Papers & the Harvest Hello’s Bundle. A cute card to send to a friend as a thank you or for any reason at all.
This card was inspired by the season. The nights are drawing in, indeed our clocks will go back at the end of the month bringing in the short days and early dark evenings. There are pumpkins everywhere at the moment and my favourite candles are spiced apple and pumpkin ones. The Come To Gather Papers remind me of all the good things the season brings.
How cool are these pumpkins we grew at the allotment last year! Especially the flat white/cream coloured ones. They look like some kind of little flying saucers. I’ve not managed to get there as much this year though I put some in. I must pop down and see if they survived.
There are so many varieties and colours of pumpkin I created a creamy coloured one for my card. I stamped the pumpkin in black ink onto Whisper White card and coloured it in using the Ivory Blend pen. I picked out the Pretty Peacock leaves in the Designer Series Papers for the card base. The sentiment is stamped onto a small rectangle of Pear Pizzazz card and heat embossed in white to make it pop. Magnolia Lane Linen ribbon behind the pumpkin to finishes it off.
Inside I have used Very Vanilla card, stamped with Pretty Peacock and Pear Pizzazz ink.
I’ve used the Harvest Hello’s stamp set in another project here too, it’s a great stamp and punch bundle.
I love the colours in the Gather Together DSP. Very warm and autumnal. I have lots more projects planned for them so watch out for those.
