The weather in the UK was glorious this last week so it seems only fitting to use Butterflies for Coffee and Cards! There’s another reason too. Do you ever have extra die cuts or punched shapes left over? I keep mine to use later. I happened upon a whole pile of die-cut butterflies from the Butterfly Beauty Die set including this pretty water coloured one so I thought I’d share how I made it and use it on a card! #coffeeandcards

Butterflies For Coffee & Cards!
Some simple water colour onto the die-cut butterfly. Add a tiny button – (these are the Needlepoint Nook buttons currently in the clearance rack in my online shop) and some twine with a glue dot. You can see how I made it in the video. The card base is 14.9 cm x 10.5 cm. Highland Heather layer 14.3 cm x 10 cm, Whisper White layer 13.8 cm x 10 cm.
This one is made using the oh so useful pre-scored Whisper Notecards and Envelopes. The background is the new Ornate Garden Embossing Folder. So pretty! The butterflies are simply stamped and punched out with the matching Butterfly Duet punch. Colour them with a little ink sponging.
