Help us make a difference! I am so excited to be taking part in the 2.6 Challenge with my dear friend Jennifer Wynn to raise vital funds for the Puzzle Centre!
The Puzzle Centre charity promotes & delivers early intervention for young children with autism & other communication difficulties; supports families & practitioners through training & outreach. This is a subject very close to my heart and I certainly wish we had had the support to access it in my children’s pre school days. The work they do is invaluable.
We will be creating a card every single day for the next 26 days starting April 26th! We will both be posting our creations daily, sharing what we have made and how it’s going!
I can’t wait to see what we both come up with for the challenge and I hope you like seeing them every day. I will send out the cards too so watch out for the postie!
Do take a moment to watch the short video below to see how valuable the Puzzle centre is and the amazing work that goes on there!

When I saw Jennifer’s Just giving Page last night and what she was doing, of course I had to join her. So to catch up I have two cards for you today!
Here is my first card for the challenge. I have lots of Thank you cards to send out. There’s always a need for a thank you card, especially at times like these. This one uses the gorgeous Ornate Garden Suite. I loved the “70’s” feel of the colours in the Ornate Garden Papers, so went with the colours using Early Espresso and So Saffron. The fonts in these stamp sets are fabulous! I love them. The edging is made using one of the border dies in this suite. You can see another card using the same design but different colours here!
I have added another border die cut to the inside edge. Isn’t it pretty? The Ornate Garden Suite isn’t in the catalogue…. yet as it’s an early release but is is available in my online shop, do pop over and have a look.
Today’s card uses the Painted Poppies stamp set. This is a one layer card using simple stamping. Easy to create but a beautiful card. I just love this poppy image. This one, designed for one of my Coffee and Cards sessions and love its simplicity so decided to recreate it today. I have used some of the Painted Poppies sequins and a little Wink Of Stella shimmer to finish it off.
Stamp the inside Whisper White layer with the Poppy image and the pretty “splatter” stamp too.

Why The 2.6 Challenge?
A little about the 2.6 challenge via this link. Charities can no longer fundraise in person. Many fundraising events across the UK have been postponed or cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst we are all hopeful many of these events will go ahead at a later date, many charities across the UK have been left struggling to maintain their services. These charities need our support more than ever.
Do help us make a difference! and donate to the Just Giving Page if you can. And if you can’t please share our posts across facebook/ instagram etc to support this worthy cause. I hope you will like seeing what we both make every day and it brightens your day.
