You’re My Person! A perfect sentiment for a Valentine’s card don’t you think?! Hello and welcome to another Stamper’s Showcase Blog Hop, Valentine’s day is on the horizon and our theme this month is love.

The Lovely You stamp set is full of beautiful sentiments for your cards, all in this gorgeous font. I’m not a big fan of specifically Valentine themed stamps. I like to make my stamps work a bit harder than that and this set is brilliant! It does just that.
You’re My Person!
The background is easy to create. Use a few drops of Blushing Bride ink refill in a Stampin Spritzer filled with water and spritz onto watercolour paper. Go lightly and build up the colour to achieve the effect you like. Let it dry naturally or use a heat tool to speed up the process.
Repeat the process for the sentiment panel. Emboss using the Subtles embossing folder. I love this one! Cut out using the large die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and stamp the sentiment in Memento black ink. The white resin hearts and the Blushing Bride bakers twine finish it off.
