Yes ! You read it right! It’s a Stampin For Christmas Blog Hop! When I got the invitation to take part in January I thought I’d got it late! But no, it’s a monthly Stampin For Christmas Blog Hop! And whats more, I think it’s a great idea. We have a collective of talented demonstrators taking part, using our Christmas stamps from the Annual catalogue, sharing inspiration and creativity with you. After all, if we make our Christmas cards we start early or end up in a rush. Make one a month along with us and you will have at least 11 by December!

I knew I had to pull out this little snowman from the Snowman Season stamp set. He’s so cute! And as snow is in the forecast this weekend it seems kind of apt. I just received my delivery with these Oh So Ombre papers free from Saleabration as I sat down to make the card. They are fabulous! I was totally inspired. They look just like snowballs don’t they!

Stampin For Christmas Blog Hop!
The snowman is stamped onto watercolour paper because I’d originally intended to use a water colour wash. I changed my mind and heat embossed some of the snowflakes in the set in white and used one of the new blending brushes to blend a light covering of Coastal Cabana ink to create a soft colour with emboss resist of the snowflakes.

Colour in the little snowman with a blend pen in light Pool Party and clear wink of stella to make him sparkle!

I love him! The “believe” is from the itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. I hope you like it! Do let me know in the comments. I love to read them.
