Mum, you are simply wonderful! Did you catch my Facebook Friday Live last week? Using the Bloom & Grow stamp set with the Playful Alphabet Dies for this Mothers Day Card. Have you made your Mother’s Day card yet? This stamp set is perfect for it. But it’s one of those ones that are great for so many occasions too. So if you don’t need to make a Mothers Day card it’s perfect for birthdays, get well, anniversary, wedding….
I just love these colours. Coastal Cabana for the card base, Bermuda bay for the layer, and Pool Party for the ribbon. Use the same colour Blend pens to colour in the stamped flowers from the Bloom & Grow stamp set. The Playful Alphabet Dies that spell out the word MUM is super useful! You can personalise any card and they are great for scrapbooking too. It wouldn’t be a card from me if it didn’t have a little heat embossing and fussy cutting. Though not essential of course. Do you see how I made a bookmark for her to match? Simply stamp and colour. Use the Tag Topper punch for the top. It slips inside the card perfectly.
You can see the replay and exactly how to make both here. I hope you enjoy it. Being a replay of a Facebook live it’s rather a chatty kind of video. You can fast forward the chat if it’s not your thing. You can also join me live on Tuesdays at 11 am GMT or Friday’s at 7pm GMT over on my Facebook Page here. We would love to have you!

Use the same stamp set for the inside sentiment. This font is so lovely! Do stamp some flowers inside and colour in before sticking your layer down. They are so pretty.
I carried on afterwards and made a bookmark for my daughter. Well, it was International Book Day after all. She’s studying English Literature at University so there are rather a-lot of books to read!
Stamp the flowers onto the back too. Die-cut them out using the matching Blossoms In Bloom dies too if you like and I just had to use some more of the beautiful Pool Party Ribbon!
