Introducing The New 2021 In-Colours!
A simple way to create a pretty card using a detailed die cut, a blending brush and an ink pad. Use a Blending Brush to pick up a little ink from your ink pad and holding the die cut in place blend the ink gently until it leaves a silhouette on the white layer. The Butterfly Brilliance is an absolutely beautiful stamp and die bundle. The dies are perfect for this technique.
You could either leave the silhouette of the butterfly as the front of the card or add the die-cut you have sponged for an extra layer as I have done. Use a couple of the mini dimensional foam pads to raise up the butterfly. The ornate thanks is a great stamp set to have in your stash with a lovely font and useful sentiments. Stamp it on the front of the card in another of the In Colours.
Don’t they make. pretty set! Great to gift. They just needed a box to fit and I had the perfect one. The Stamp Around The UK monthly YouTube Video Hop I am part of also goes live this evening. The theme this month is Anything But A Card. With the brand new gorgeous Pansy Patch bundle in my hand and spring in the air I decided to make a pretty box to gift packets of seeds . With it sat on my desk and the set of In Colour butterfly notecards complete I can see they will fit inside it perfectly! Happy days! Of course, I HAD to make one to match the notecards.
You will be able to see exactly how the box is made when the video goes live here on YouTube this evening.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of the Positive Inkers Design Team have come up with for the New Catalogue challenge. I’m sure we will have a ton of crafty inspiration showcasing brand new products from Stampin’ Up! I’m excited to see.
There are some super talented people taking part so grab a cuppa and continue hopping down the list for some fabulous inspiration.
