A very simple card to create using the large Sunflower die. Add a little patterned paper behind before glueing to the base. Creating a patterned background like this is so simple and effective, This die is so pretty! The Celebrate Sunflowers stamps and sunflowers dies are a gorgeous set. A fantastic investment as they have great sentiments and beautiful dies. It’s a set that works really hard for you.
Stamping a pattern is another simple way to create a patterned background. Add the image stamped again, die-cut out and raise on Dimensional Foam Pads to the front of the card. This sentiment from the same set looks amazing on this die-cut from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Tie the colours together, like the Early Espresso ribbon and ink used for the sentiment. Cut the greenery sprigs from Old Olive card, the same ink colour as the leaves. You can create simple but pretty cards in the same way by using patterned papers. Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series papers are beautiful!
You can see the cards I made at last week’s Coffee and Cards using this set with the new In Colours in the live replay here.
I am live every Tuesday morning at 11:00 BST for Coffee and Cards here on my Inkstampshare Facebook page and you can catch the replay afterward over on my YouTube channel here.
