The new Snow Days Scrapbooking kit from Stampin’ Up! was released this month, just in time for this month’s Scrapbooking class. I’m a scrapbooker at heart, I started scrapbooking back in 2004! I’ve waited so long for Stampin Up to bring back their scrapbooking line and I’m not disappointed! There is a whole brochure of kits and scrapbooking products with more to come!
Lots and lots of kits for class! They contain 12 x 12 patterned papers, two-tone card stock, card stock for page bases, photo placeholders, card stock stickers, and instructions.
I made a kit up as per the kit instructions to get a feel for the instructions so that I can give tips to my class ladies. I made them all up except my journalling. Each kit makes up three double page spreads or six single pages. This first page was a snow day when our chldren were much younger. So many happy memories!
These are from a trip we took to Yosemite National Park at Easter and it SNOWED so much we got snowed into the valley!
I love the simplicity of the pages and that they work just as well as single-page layouts too.
We had SO much fun last Christmas, but the most fun was our Great nephew playing with this simple ring toss game!
Everyone joined in much to his delight!
Some of the layouts made by the lovely ladies in class!
For my first try of the Stampin’ Up! kits – I absolutely love them! I’ll be using this kit again but will make up my own pages with it. I think it will go a long way! Also, you can purchase the 12 x 12 paper pack with sticker sheet separately to the kit and the two tone card too. Any of these would make your kit go a long way. I already have the Autumn and Halloween ones in my stash with the coordinating stamp sets. Did I mention those? So useful!!
