Do you have lots of scraps in your stash? I guess I’m not alone then. This month’s video hop is about using up your scraps and we have many ideas!
I created a simple card using panels of patterned paper to create a card you could use for lots of occasions. This paper is soooo beautiful, it’s foiled and full of Autumnal goodness! It’s called Nature’s Sweetness. You can find it in the Stampin Up Annual Catalogue.
Gray Granite Card
Use matching card and ink to the colours in the papers. This saves lots of time deciding which colours to use and also money spent trying to match things up or by buying lots and lots of different colours. This card uses one ink pad – Gray Granite. I like to dual purpose my stamp sets where I can. This leaf one is a scrapbooking stamp set called Autumn To Remember. Stamp the leaf and cut it out.
Pecan Pie Card
This card uses Pecan Pie. Both colours are in these papers so either works well and tones in with the lovely gold foils.. You can find this sentiment in the Sketched Butterflies stamp set. Its a good set with lots of versatile sentiments in. The circles and banner are from the Stylish Shapes dies. Mine are very well used as I use them constantly. They always seem to come in handy!
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing what I came up with for using up scraps. Have a hop around the other videos to see all the amazing ideas the others in the hop have come up with. Do hop around and share so love. Find the list in the description box of my video along with the measurements for my card. You could use any papers for any occasion.
