Getting Together & Swaps

We had a team event recently, here’s what we got up to! Getting Together & Swaps is just a part of it.

Our team took up two tables. I don’t think they realised I was taking a photo! There are always beautiful projects to make, and the girls were busy creating! Check out the goodies on their table!!I love their priorities!

We managed to grab a team photo. It’s so lovely to spend the whole day together crafting and laughing.

Here’s a group photo of everyone! Can you imagine the fun we had trying to get that shot? It is just so nice to get together, catch up, and craft! You can talk craft all day and nobody’s eyes will glaze over! lol!

We had a beautiful kit to make some gorgeous projects – although I have a confession. I talked so much I didn’t finish anything! As soon as I’ve completed them I will pop them on here. I did make swaps though! That is a lot of fun. swapping in small groups. I used the Sophisticated Sled bundle to create both of them.

This one was for the 3D swap group. This cute little box is super easy to make. I popped a lip balm from the Body Shop into each one. They fit perfectly! I’m going to make more of these for my Christmas table. If you’d like to know how to make them, leave me a comment.

Let It Snow Christmas Card Swap

This was for the Christmas swap group. This Sophisticated Sled stamps/dies bundle is a favourite. Do you keep small scraps of glimmer paper or metallics? It’s perfect for those! Also, Cut the sled out and it comes out embossed like that! I added a little Pecan Pie ink to give it a distressed look. It’s an easy card but the sparkle makes it special! I received lots of lovely swaps back too and some lovely gifts from our team. As soon as I’ve photographed them I will pop them here to show them all to you. Lots of lovely inspiration!

We had such an amazing day. Crafting, swapping, inspiration tables, classes, an amazing raffle, and of course lots of cake!! This fun, day was held for the whole wider team and I have a team weekend coming up next month for our own team. I can’t wait to spend more time with them and I have some great projects planned! A whole weekend of crafting, we can leave our stuff out all weekend and no cooking or washing up either! Bonus. The community is one of the best things about being in Stampin Up.
