Inspire Create Challenge #062 Anything Goes!
Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I have a card for you using the sentiment A Great Big Wish For Happiness from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set free from Saleabration. Perfect to team up with the Painted Poppies stamps and for the Inspire Create Challenge this week where with this sketch anything goes!
This poppy image is just beautiful, isn’t it? I’ve incorporated some of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper as a layer on this card. This is one of the “B” sides in Pool Party. It has a watercolour feel to it.
A Great Big Wish
The stamped layer of Whisper White card is long and narrow and shows off the paper. Stamp the Splatter in Pool Party Ink to match and stamp the sentiment in Memento Black over the top to give contrast. Colour the poppy simply using Stampin’ Blends. Add a little ribbon, (I often like a knot rather than a bow on the front) this one is the Classic Weave in Crumb Cake and is so soft. Some of the Peaceful Poppies Sequins finish it off. I love that some of these sequins are flower-shaped! The ones on this card are Rich Razzleberry, Clear and Poppy Parade .
Happy Birthday stamped inside in Memento Black.
Stamp the same poppy image from the stamp set inside the card. Use the small splatter stamp over the top in Poppy Parade. I love how this gives a completely different look to the same stamp and yet ties it all together.
Stamp it onto your envelope too as I have done here. So pretty isn’t it?!
